Crevalcore Main Street, Crevalcore (Bologna)
The centre of town (now called the “red zone”) has been closed for days as inspectors check every single building for earthquake damage. Everyone was evacuated, and now may only enter their homes for personal belongings if accompanied by firefighters. It takes hours to fetch anything they left behind when they were forced to leave - medication, jewelery, clothes… Most shops and bars are closed. The town hall is closed, and temporarily re-located in the library.
