The Cemetery of Concordia, near Modena
For the past two weeks, not even the dead can rest in this area of Italy… Today I noticed they blocked off the cemetery of Concordia with white walls because people were slipping under the red and white ribbon and entering the broken gates, even if the sign said “Due to earthquake damage, ENTRY STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.” Imagine how terrible it is for widows and widowers who want to be near their loved ones in such a stressful period…
