Dryopteris affinis ‘Cristata the King’ I don’t know if I’ve ever met a fern that I didn’t like, but this is certainly one that I do… It’s coming back beautifully after its first winter here, and it looks especially cheery with that Galium odoratum (Sweet woodruff) growing under it… I love our little fern area, especially the Japanese stuff I’ve planted here.
